Morse Code

Morse code is pretty cool. Send morse code sequences or listen to the current time played out in morse code. Use the controls to vary the tone frequency, volume and cadence.

Tip: try increasing the value of "time" to slow down the morse code if you have trouble keeping up.

Morse code allows you to send messages using dots and dashes -- specific sequences of dots and dashes making up different letters or numbers.

In morse code everything is based off of time units. Dots are sound played for one time unit. Dashes are sound played for three time units.

Words are made up of symbols. Symbols are either dots or dashes. A one time unit pause is made between each symbol, and a three time unit pause is made between each letter, and a seven time unit pause is made between each word.
